We are thrilled and blessed to welcome Mr. Lance Kindred to our Faculty this year! We are looking forward to an exciting new year with him on the TCS team. Please read his Bio below...

I am Lance Kindred. I am a native of Thomas County. Faith and church have always been a fundamental part of my life. I was raised in the Metcalfe United Methodist Church and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior during Revival Services at the age of 10. I graduated from Central High School…a long time ago. I then went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in Music at Thomas College. After transferring to Valdosta State University, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education degree. It was during my time at VSU that I experienced a deepening relationship with Christ and discerned a call to ministry. Roughly five years after graduating from VSU, I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Erskine Theological Seminary and began my work in vocational ministry as a clergy member of the South Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Over the last 23 years, I have served churches in Decatur, Lowndes, Taylor, and Thomas Counties. I am presently serving the churches of the Metcalfe Charge (Bethpage, Ebenezer, and Metcalfe). I have taught all subjects at Cross Creek this past year in the fourth grade and have experience with long-term subbing on and off in the past.  I will be married to my wife, Jodi, 17 years this coming September. We have been blessed with two daughters (Kirby:14, Chloe:11) and one son (Parker: 10).  I am enthused about this opportunity and looking forward to working with the faculty and students at Thomasville Christian School this coming school year.
