Conceptual Framework

 

Vision:  The vision of Thomasville Christian School is to raise up godly generations of young people who love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength,

     who serve Him in both their vocational calling and in the local church, and

     who worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Mission:  The mission of Thomasville Christian School is to glorify God by serving Christian parents and the church by imparting a Christian world and life view to children of      

     believers, emphasizing academic excellence and the unchanging truth of God’s Word, that the name of Jesus may be exalted in our homes, in our community, and in the world.

 

Motto:  “They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”  Isaiah 61:3b

 

Rationale:  “…that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Romans 15:6

 

Philosophy:  Biblical Foundation, Christ-centered, Christian worldview

 

Instructional Goals:  The broad instructional goals of Thomasville Christian School are twofold:

     (1) To develop godly character in a loving Christian environment, and

     (2) to provide quality, challenging academic instruction

 

Mascot:  Lion

 

School Colors:  Navy and green

 

Logo:  Oak tree silhouette, “Thomasville Christian School”, and Bible verse, “They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”  Isaiah 61:3b
