Reasons for Uniforms
1. School uniforms promote a single standard of dress that fosters a cooperative rather than competitive environment that optimizes learning.
2. School uniforms help to build a sense of community and create an atmosphere of belonging. These attitudes foster a positive educational environment.
3. School uniforms make shopping for school and getting ready for school in the morning easier for parent and child.
4. School uniforms help place the emphasis in school on learning, not fashion.
5. School uniforms are cost effective saving parents money over time.
6. Our school uniforms can be utilized in a number of ways in a child's regular wardrobe.
Uniform Code
Thomasville Christian School believes that a school uniform for elementary students best serves the overall purposes and goals of the school. Parents may choose to buy whichever items they would like from the following list:
For Girls:
...White polo shirt (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Green polo shirt (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Navy polo shirt (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Baby blue feminine fit T (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Navy blue feminine fit T (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Evergreen feminine fit T (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...White feminine fit T (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Hunter/classic navy plaid jumper (Land's End catalog)
...White or baby blue Peter Pan collar blouse (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...White or baby blue button down collar blouse (long or short sleeved, either catalog)
...Three-tab pleated khaki skort (French Toast catalog)
...Kick pleat khaki skirt (French Toast catalog)
...Khaki or navy shorts (either catalog) (Tops tucked in, belt needed)
...Khaki or navy slacks (either catalog) (Tops tucked in, belt needed)
...Socks: anklets, knee socks, or tights (white, khaki, navy, or hunter green)
...Shoes: Any style of shoes with closed toes.

...Girls may add any navy, white, or green vest, cardigan, V-neck, crew sweater or turtleneck top from either catalog.
...School logo T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available for purchase from the school office. These tops, or one of the uniform tops, may be worn with jeans on "Jean's Days" which will be announced.
For Boys:

Ordering Uniforms
Land's End and French Toast are two uniform companies that return a portion of the net sales of uniforms back to the school. Catalogs from both companies are available in the school office with a special school source code or preferred school code to be given when placing an order. These codes will assure that a percentage of your purchase is returned to the school to benefit the students.
All white and navy polo shirts, white and baby blue blouses and shirts, and khaki shorts and khaki slacks may be purchased from wherever you choose. They should look like the ones in the Land's End or French Toast catalogs.
