Ron Kooy Mr. Ron Kooy graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy and from Calvin College with a Masters of Education in School Leadership. He is certified in K-12 School Administration by both Christian Schools International and the State of Michigan. He has many years of experience in Christian education as a teacher and school leader. Mr. Kooy will be the Headmaster and middle school Bible teacher at TCS. After several severe winters up North, he and his wife Gigi are happy to be back in the South. They have a married daughter who lives with her husband in Kansas City.

Lindsey Allen Mrs. Lindsey Allen, our Kindergarten teacher and Sign Language Teacher, graduated from Florida Bible College in Hollywood, Florida, with a major in Christian Education, a major in Biblical Education and a minor in Theology. She was trained at Pensacola Christian School in 'A Beka' curriculum and taught in two Christian Schools. She and her husband, Joe, have been in ministry for over 25 years and are presently serving the First Baptist Church of Cairo.

Sharon Robson Mrs. Sharon Robson attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Bethany Bible College in Dothan, Alabama. She has 22 years of teaching experience, including eleven years at North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, Florida, and five years at Open Bible Christian School in Valdosta, Georgia. Sharon is also involved at East Side Baptist Church where her husband has been the pastor for 20 years. She helps in the music and teaching ministries of the children, youth, and ladies of the church. Mrs. Robson will be teaching the 1st/2nd grade class and Elective Block lower school music.

Gail Danner Mrs. Gail Danner graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, from California State College in San Bernadino, California with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, and from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with an Educational Specialist's Degree in Computer Education. She is certified to teach K-8th grade. She has taught in public, private, and Christian schools as well as homeschooled for over the past 30 years. Mrs. Danner teaches 3rd/4th grade and Critical Thinking Skills.

Susan Quinet Mrs. Susan Quinet graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Secondary Education. She received her Master ‘s Degree in Educational Technology from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is certified to teach grades 4-12 in Language Arts and Social Studies. She has experience in public and private education, as well as homeschooling. She will be teaching grades 5-8, English and History and Elective Block, Computer Technology. Susan and her husband, Josh, have three children: Tyler (16), Justin (8), and Jacob (6). They attend Crossroads Church in Beachton, GA.

Terry Howell Mr. Terry Howell teaches Middle School math and science, as well as computer elective block. Terry is in his second year at TCS. Terry graduated in 1985 from the US Naval Academy with a degree in Applied Science; Computer Programming. In addition to Terry's service as a surface warfare officer in Desert Storm, he received the US Navy Commendation Medal for his time as the officer-in-charge of the AEGIS Department Head School where he achieved the Navy's Master Training Specialist certification. Terry came to TCS after 17 years in the business world and being a President & CEO of HD Supply Waterworks, a Fortune 100 size company. Terry and his wife Jan have three children (Ethan (17), Olivia (13), Aaron (10)). Terry is an Elder at Christ Community Presbyterian Church where he has been a member and Sunday school teacher for over eight years.

Joanne Allensworth Mrs. Joanne Allensworth will serve as the teachers aide for early elementary school grades. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in early childhood education. This is her third year with TCS. She will be joined by her daughter, Abby, who is in the 2nd grade and her son Andrew, who is in the fifth grade.

Laurie Deese Mrs. Laurie Deese attended Valdosta State and Kennesaw State College and studied for her BA in Business Management. She founded Best Friends Dog Rescue in 2001. It is a non-profit organization that cares for and places dogs and puppies in loving homes. She will be teaching the 5th – 8th grades Health and she will also be the facilitator of Spanish this year for the 5th – 8th grade classes. Laurie and her husband, Russell, have two children, Cale and Rayne which both attend TCS. They are members of Celebration Church in Thomasville, GA.

TCS has an additional part time instructor this year: Mrs. Jessica Dell will teach the Elective Block art classes to all grades. We are thankful for each of these people who serve in instructing our students.
