We are thrilled and blessed to welcome Mr. Lance Kindred to our Faculty again this year! We are looking forward to an exciting year with him serving in a new position as our Chapel Director, Spiritual Leader and 2nd-8th grade Bible Teacher. Mr. Kindred taught 3rd & 4th grades his first year at TCS and was the 5th & 6th grade homeroom teacher and ELA for the 5th-8th grades last  year. Please read his bio below....

I am Lance Kindred. I am a native of Thomas County. Faith and church have always been a fundamental part of my life. I was raised in the Metcalfe United Methodist Church and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior during Revival Services at the age of 10. I graduated from Central High School…a long time ago. I then went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in Music at Thomas College. After transferring to Valdosta State University, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education degree. It was during my time at VSU that I experienced a deepening relationship with Christ and discerned a call to ministry. Roughly five years after graduating from VSU, I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Erskine Theological Seminary and began my work in vocational ministry as a clergy member of the South Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Over the last 24 years, I have served churches in Decatur, Lowndes, Taylor, and Thomas Counties. I am presently serving the churches of the Metcalfe Charge (Bethpage, Ebenezer, and Metcalfe). I have taught all subjects at Cross Creek this past year in the fourth grade and have experience with long-term subbing on and off in the past.  I will be married to my wife, Jodi, 18 years this coming September. We have been blessed with two daughters (Kirby:16, Chloe:13) and one son (Parker: 12).  I am enthused about this opportunity and looking forward to working with the faculty and students at Thomasville Christian School again this coming school year.
