Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST)   

Financial aid for tuition at Thomasville Christian School is needs-based assistance which is awarded annually to those families who demonstrate need for assistance by providing their personal income and other financial information to the Financial Aid Committee of the Thomasville Christian School Board.  As you may imagine, the process of analyzing and determining appropriate assistance amounts for each family is a difficult task.  The funds available to distribute each year come from the generous contributions of those families and friends of TCS who participate in the GASSO program.  The amount of funds available varies each year, which makes the award process that much more difficult. 

For the 2016-17 school year, the TCS Board will partner with Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) to provide processing and analysis of financial aid applications.  FAST will be the standard submission format for all families seeking financial aid at TCS.  FAST is an independent, third party dedicated solely to the purpose of assisting schools with their financial aid award process.  Using this service promotes confidentiality of your personal information, reduces conflicts of interest for board members and standardizes the application process for all involved. 

The FAST application process is all done online at their website and an information sheet is attached to help get you started.  There is a $38 charge by FAST to complete your application.  It can be paid by credit or debit card at the end of the application process.  If you do not have a card to pay with, please contact Joanne Allensworth at 229-227-1515.  Please note that inclusion of your tax return and associated documents for 2015 is a requirement, so be sure to have your taxes completed as soon as possible. 

Please make sure you print and fill out the Registration/Admission forms found on the "Application Process" Page and return to the school (if you have not done so already) if you plan to apply for financial aid. The online submission deadline for all applications is June 30, 2016.  Your tax return information must follow the submission of the online application and must be postmarked no later than June 30, 2016.   • When the Fast page opens click on the "Start Application"  to begin.
  • The application process is self-guided.  You may navigate in and out of the program allowing you to partially complete an application and go back to it at another time.  FAST has a 24/7/365 telephone helpline available should you have any questions.  Please call 1-877-326-FAST (2378)
  • Please do not call the school with questions about the FAST website or application.
  • The charge for the application is $38.00 and can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) at the end of the session.
  • After completing the online application you will be required to mail your (2014) tax documents (Federal taxes including all schedules, State taxes, W-2’s and Business taxes (if applicable)  to the following address for verification purposes.
