Activities and Programs
Students enjoy a wide range of activities and programs throughout the school year. They participate in community events in addition to a variety of school events.
A weekly chapel service is held on Friday mornings. This is a time of praise and worship. Our desire is to see a student grow not only academically, but spiritually. We hope to see them grow by applying the truths of Scripture to their daily lives.
Throughout the year students experience many learning opportunities. Classes enjoy several field trips which are usually an extention of science or social studies units being discussed in class.
Plays, choral readings, and songs are presented for parents and friends at various holidays and times throughout the year. They give students opportunities to learn presentation skills and to speak in front of an audience.
Classroom activities include a wide array of learning experiences such as educational computer programs, oral and written book reports, group and individual projects, weekly current events discussed with God's World News, etc.
Seasonal community activities involve students in giving to others by sharing the talents and gifts God has given to them.
